Apartment Makeover
Date: Summer 2020 | Location: Bay & Charles
When I moved to my first studio apartment, I saw an opportunity to design the space I wanted to live in as
a form experiential research.
Creating a 3D model allowed me to try different furniture arrangements without having to physically move anything. An important factor I took into consideration was creating divisions between the kitchen, bedroom
space, and living/working area. I achieved this by arranging the furniture strategically and leaving a buffer between each of these spaces.

The use of white furniture and furniture that is lifted from the ground helped make the space look more spacious. I took into consideration the function of the large mirror doors as a reflector of natural light by reducing obstructions
in front of them.
